Some processes for exterior waterproofing has been improved significantly in 2022. We have worked with different waterproofing product manufacturers to know what works the best in our region, and we rise above our competition.
We have worked with different waterproofing product manufacturers to know what works the best in our region, and we rise above our local competition in quality and workmanship.
We begin with a review of buried cables and lines. The foundation is excavated by using an excavator or by hand for certain situations.
The foundation wall is exposed down to the footings.
We may not always use a mini-ex for small jobs, say less than 30 feet, but for larger jobs, 50-300 feet and larger, it is critical.
This is followed by cleaning to prepare for primer and waterproofing membrane.
At the footer, a primer is applied followed by a rubberized membrane.
After the footer membrane, the full foundation wall is primed, to just below grade.
Waterproofing membrane with big O, feeding into inner system.
If the interior system exists but no exterior, then a new channel is drilled through the footer.
We complete the wrap with closure strips, and cover big-O with gravel.
An interior sump system is not always necessary, but most often it is.
If one does not exist and is necessary, the equipment and installation will be part of the project.
A small percentage of projects require the installation of a second sump system.
We backfill the trench and apply a finishing touch according to the discussion and project plan.
Our waterproofing work is covered by a lifetime warranty, and we strive for high customer satisfaction.
HomeStars has confirmed us as a HomeStars Verified waterproofer, to provide additional trust.
